The Pineal Gland and its beautiful awakening process

As we discussed in a previous article, Activate your Pineal Gland in 7 steps, the Pineal Gland has a powerful role in our awakening process. More and more people are talking about how to decalcify the Pineal Gland. But do we really know the role of this important structure piece we possess?

Our ancient ancestors knew that balancing and activating the Pineal Gland is fundamental for expanding consciousness and restoring the health and vibration frequency of the physical body.

The endocrine system we possess is an important link activator between the physical function and the spiritual experience. The endocrine system includes the following glands: the pituitary, the pineal, hypothalamus, thyroid, parathyroid, adrenals, pancreas, and ovaries/testes.

These glands do not use electrical impulses, like the nervous system does, to effect changes in our body, emotion, energy level or cognition. These glands use hormones to impact the up mentioned plans they activate on.

Hormones are chemical messengers that circulate through our bloodstream and coordinate important body functions. They increase or decrease the nerve impulses level.

The Pineal Gland, the hypothalamus and the pituitary have important roles in our awakening process and in our spiritual development. The strong link between them will be described below.

The Hypothalamus – Pituitary Link

The Hypothalamus plays a central role in linking the nervous to the endocrine system, and in activating the Pineal Gland. It is also connected to the limbic system, which is the center of our emotions and feelings.

The hypothalamus with the pituitary gland affect most of the major systems and organ functions in the body, beside our emotions. They regulate all of our basic survival needs and processes: hunger, thirst, fatigue, sleep, growth, pain relief, blood pressure, body temperature.

The hypothalamus produces neurohormones that communicate with the pituitary gland, signaling the release or inhibition of key pituitary hormones, which harmonize and activate the Glands` function.

By signaling and directing the pituitary, the hypothalamus plays a critical role in the endocrine system. It also has a big impact on the “awakening” of the Pineal Gland.

We possess the Wealth DNA inside of ourselves.

You see modern scientists call it “DNA” but ancient eastern teaching referred to it as “chakras.”

But whether you want to use the modern term of the traditional language, the fact remains the same…

All you need to do is “activate” the energy center that attracts wealth…

The Pituitary role in Spiritual Awakening

The anterior lobe of The Pituitary secrets seven hormones that influence:

  • lactation,
  • the release of testosterone,
  • the production of human growth hormones,
  • thyroid and
  • sex hormones.

The posterior lobe of the Pituitary does not produce hormones, but stores and releases two important hormones produced by the brain: oxytocin and vasopressin.

Oxytocin stimulates maternal instincts and sexual pleasure.

Vasopressin influences circadian rhythms, the reabsorption of water into the bloodstream, and the paternal protective instincts.

The pituitary gland has a strong impact on our growth and its health is also important for pineal gland activation.

When the pituitary gland and the pineal gland start to vibrate in synchrony, then we are inspired to grow and renew ourselves on both the physical and the spiritual plan.

We can consider that the Pineal Gland is part of a bigger gland family. Now that we know the strong relation between the hypothalamus, the pituitary and the pineal gland, we can find out more about the Pineal Gland role and activation process.

Pineal Gland

The Pineal Gland is situated in the center of the brain, behind and above the pituitary gland.

The Pineal Gland is the gland with the highest concentration of energy in the body. That`s because it is bathed in highly charged cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and has more blood flow per cubic volume than any other organ. The Pineal Gland is also the primary source of the body`s melatonin.

Darkness activates the production of melatonin by the pineal gland and light inhibits it.

Melatonin is crucial for its effects on our mood, immunity system, circadian rhythms, and the quantity and quality of our sleep. Melatonin has an anti-aging effect on our body, and is also an anti-stress agent and antioxidant.

After being released, the melatonin travels through the CSF and enters nearby blood vessels in order to be distributed to the rest of the body.

When our melatonin production level is low, we experience bad moods, depression and seasonal disorders.

Pineal Gland – how is Serotonin and DMT produced

An activated and healthy Pineal Gland produces other neurochemicals also, including DMT and pinoline. These neurochemicals coordinate physical and emotional processes on a cellular level.

The DMT and the pinoline connect the mind and the body.

Serotonin is a precursor of these two neurochemicals. Taking into consideration that the highest concentration of serotonin is found in the Pineal Gland, we may say that the Pineal Gland plays a key role in expanding consciousness.

When the Pineal Gland is activated, the brain starts to produce these consciousness expanding biochemical. Ancient civilizations believed in their ancient traditions that activating the Pineal Glands equals to the opening of the Third Eye.

Pineal Gland and Spirituality

The activated Pineal Gland was part of the spirituality from ancient times.

We  find its pinecone shape in art and artifacts and in many ancient traditions as well. The healthy Pineal Gland symbolize enlightenment and immortality. Maybe that is why the Egyptians worshiped this Gland and they also kept it separately during the mummification process.

This pinecone shaped gland represents a perfect Fibonacci sequence. And we already know that a Fibonacci sequence is the symbol of growth.

So, the Pineal Gland is a symbol of evolution and continuous progress through its shape also.

Ancient practice Sun-gazing and the  Gland

Ancient civilizations also knew about the healing power of the sunlight on the Pineal Gland. Nowadays, this practice is called sun-gazing.  This practice of gradually staring at the sun is to be practiced during sunrise or sunset, when the ultraviolet rays have the lower values.

Moon Sign and Moon Phase!

Yes — the sign and phase of the moon at the exact moment of your birth reveals more about you than you could possibly imagine.

Together they influence your strengths and passions…and reveal your potential for abundance, love and prosperity.

Sun-gazing  rules , for the expected result:

Practice sun-gazing :

  • within the hour after sunrise or before sunset (prevents eye damage)
  •  barefoot, in contact with the Earth:  sand, mud
  • starting with a 10 seconds session. Increase the time by 10 seconds each day

These are the 3 golden rules to be followed if you want to experience the benefits of this ancient well known practice.

The barefoot walking is very important in the process of activating the Pineal Gland. Researchers found that each toe has a link to a specific gland.

That`s why walking barefoot directly on Earth is a great stimuli for the glands.

  • The big toe links to the pineal gland,
  • the second toe is links with the pituitary gland,
  • then the third  links with the hypothalamus,
  • the next one to thalamus and
  • the pinky toe  links to the amygdala.

The shoe soles is an electrically isolator that prevents us interacting with the energetic field of the Earth.

Barefoot walking combined with the sun rays, creates a magnetic field in and around our body. This magnetic field smoothens our vibrational frequency, synchronizing it to the Earth`s vibrational frequency. The physical body recharges like a battery this way.

Effects of the Light on the Pineal Gland

The hypothalamus, the pituitary and the pineal gland are all extremely sensitive and responsive to light. The traditional medicine only knew about two types of light receptors in the eye. Back in 2002,researchers discovered a new type of eye light receptors.

So, beside the cones (for color vision) and rods (for low light vision), scientists were able to identify a third type of photoreceptors. These newly discovered light receptors were found in the retina and contain a light-sensitive pigment called melanopsin.

These cells send messages to the hypothalamus SCN (suprachiasmatic nucleus ). The SCN is responsible for controlling circadian rhythms (sleep, alertness, hormones, digestive functions).

When the hypothalamus receives information about the presence or absence of light, it signals the pineal gland to activate and to start of inhibit the production of cortisol and melatonin. The pituitary also responds to light presence by releasing or not the vasopressin.

Studies show that the whole body reacts as a light detector. When the 3rd Eye Gland detects Light shining on any part of the body, it shuts down the melatonin production.

Many people may find removing the source of artificial light from bedroom, during bedtime hours, can be helpful in optimizing sleep cycles.  This practice rebalances and stimulates the pineal gland.

Can you attract wealth with your DNA?

The answer will surprise you.

Melatonin importance in the Spiritual Development

We remembered earlier about the melatonin, what is the production process for this hormone and what are the benefits for the physical body.

Early research results show a strong link between the pineal gland, the melatonin and light.

  1. Darkness increases the melatonin production, preparing the body to sleep.
  2. Light has the opposite effect, preparing the body to wake up.
  3. A non-sufficient quantity of melatonin causes sleep problems.

From the spiritual point of view, melatonin helps us to quiet the mind and body, making access to higher consciousness. The DMT and the pinoline produced by the Gland are both psychoactive. They change our perception, consciousness, cognition, behavior and also our mood, as a result.

Ancient Egyptians and Zoroastrians used Pinoline  as an opening gate to visions and dream states in the conscious mind. Pinoline  resonates with the pulse of life, with the primordial vibration frequency, at about 8 cycles per second.

The body naturally produces DMT, in different types of experiences like:

  • deep meditations,
  • sexual ecstasy,
  • near-death experiences,
  • extreme physical stress.

It also alters our dream consciousness when it is released into the bloodstream during the Rapid Eye Movement phase of sleep. Dr. Rick Strassman calls DMT  the Spirit Molecule, because of the relationship between DMT and visionary experiences.

Pineal Gland, Vibrations and Magnetism

We discussed about the influence of the vibrations of the heart on our body, in an earlier article,

The heart as a powerful brain. As we already saw, rhythmic vibrations can have a powerful effect on our mood, cognition, emotions and, of course, they have a strong impact on our physical body health. An active Pineal Gland can also influence us through vibration.

Researchers discovered that Music also influences our health state through vibrations. The body transmits and interprets vibrations.

The resonance happens when two wave forms begin to oscillate together at exactly the same rate. When the hypothalamus and the pituitary entrain with the pulsing vibration of the pineal gland, the whole system is in harmony.

The North Star is the source of the original pulse, according to our ancestors. Daoists think that vibrations of this star were very important in the evolution of the first forms of life on Earth. This star emits pulses that influence the opening and activation of this Gland.

Beside it`s sensitivity to light and vibration, the Pineal Gland is also sensitive to magnetic fields. Studies on birds and other animals confirm the fact that the Pineal Gland monitors magnetic fields.

This Gland also assists the body in orienting in space, by acting as a navigational center. Now it is simple to understand that the problems with circadian rhythms and with melatonin secretion have a strong link to the receptivity to magnetic fields. So, environmental stress and geomagnetic storms affect the P Gland.

The opening of the Third Eye starts when the Pineal Gland and the Heart vibe in sync

As you remember from a previous article about the magnetic field generated by the heart, the high or low level of the vibration affects the entire body. So, if we experience love, compassion, joy, the electromagnetic field generated by the heart will be amplified and will expand. Being sensitive to electromagnetic fields, the Pineal Gland also reacts to the Heart`s field, starting to decalcify.

The opening of the Third Eye starts when the Pineal Gland and the Heart are in sync, helping us to develop our inspiration, intuition and inner vision capacity.

We know much about this tiny little gland that has a huge role in the expanding consciousness process. Also, we get to know more and more about the light impact in our daily biorhythm.

We are “sun-eaters”, and the Sun truly is our informational server. The information we receive from the Sun is constant and we have multiple types of receptors to interpret and to process the light we “ingest”. The best way to get used to this type of information from the Sun is to get a minimum 30 minutes exposure to sun, daily, not using any sun screen.

This procedure will help you synthetize natural vitamin D. Also, regarding sun-wearing, I want to encourage you all to stay in the Sun without sun glasses. This way, our eyes photoreceptors will evolve also, and we will give them and us the chance to really benefit from the Sun.

And, of course, don`t forget: practice Sun-gazing and sunbathing at decent hours of the day.

    1. I get tired of explaining this very same thing to people. You would think that after fourth grade, this rule would be understood.

What annoys me the most is people starting a response with “I mean”. Further annoyance is carried out when they say “I mean” every other sentence. “I mean” is used to clarify a statement that may have been left open-ended, or still conveyed some ambiguity to the listener. “I mean” shouldn’t be used as a response to lazy incoherent thought-spills, ramblings, or body gestures. Think before speaking, know what your going to say, then own it.

There’s very few Americans left that speak and/or write grammatically correct, but this is just sheer laziness the way English is just being slopped around like the lazy bums who wear pajamas and slippers to the store.

There was a time when people made it a point to always look and act their best—educated or not; rich or poor. Decadence has become a degenerate way of life filled with jealousy, resentment, malice, greed, self-imposed ignorance, and immorality.

A mountain has more than one slippery slope, and all cultures are built like a chain of mountain ranges—the same can be said of life in general.

In review, adhere to the simplest of rules in life, they out number and will get you through the tougher ones.

      1. Ladies and gentlemen, may I introduce Joy-Kill One, and Joy-Kill Two.

Let’s all give them a round of applause, shall we?

        *ahem* I shall digress…

I would like to thank the author for such an informative and enlightening article, and show my appreciation for their time and effort invested in its creation. Job well done.

          1. I was hit by a car walking across the street. I was hit in the back thrown into the air and crashed head first and chest onto the hood of the car. Then bounced Up again and ended up hitting the back of my head and back onto the pavement. Suddenly I was out of my body. I could see it mangled in the street. I was flying upward. It was amazing. No fear, pain, anxiety. All I could feel was this love that was so great and all encompassing. I flew higher and higher and felt myself completely in tune with everything! I was a piece in the puzzle of energy, God. It was beautiful. Then from the sky like thunder was a loud male voice that asked me, “Do you want to stay or go.” It was a soothing comforting voice
but I had to make a decision. I was having a blast where I was. It was raining so hard on the street below but where I was it was sunny and warm. I had a moment when I realized that I had chosen to come to earth to have a human experience but I was a spiritual being first and I was home.

I thought about my 2 sons and husband. I realized that my younger son still needed me on earth in physical form to help him see the light. Then I thought of all my hospice patients and I knew I still had work to be done on earth. I thought about Jesus and completely understood what he was trying to tell us, that we are not our bodies only. That goes Dust to dust. But the soul filled with the holy spirit goes back to heaven. I was there. Experiencing it. However after my thoughts of my children and work, I was immediately put back in my body I the street and pouring rain. I was a physical mess.

I ended up with 3 back surgeries and 9 spinal fusions. A difuse axonil injury to my brain from my neck going back and forth and then slamming on the car and again on the pavement. Besides broken bones, my entire endocrine system shut down from the shaking. I was making zero cortisol and all the other hormones. My thyroid, sex hormones etc. I had to go on lots of medications because the pituitary glad was not sending messages to the adrenal gland, Thyroid etc. I almost died twice because of lack of cortisol.

It was a struggle off 5 years of my life in rehab etc.

However, for 2 years I was recieving visions on a grand scale. I had visitors come see me. I could see perfectly through a sleep mask. I could open my ceiling and see thestars at night. There we’re huge paintings shown to me the paint in 5 layers deep. 3d objects floating in space that I could touch and feel and move around. The list. Goes on and on.it was amazing and no fear.

Do you think I also shook up my pineal gland and DMT was running rapid in my system for years?

          2. Hi Kat,
I took a long and unwanted break from AwakenMindset, and I am still very sorry for that.
Your story is amazing! You are a survivor! I think this was the biggest challenge of your life. You chose to stay on earth, and finish your on-working “projects”, than escaping physical pain. This is the lesson of true love, and yes, I also think that the car accident you`ve been through could also impacted your Pineal Gland, since other glands were affected, too.
            How are you now?
            Namaste

        1. Tara, I love your response. I’d like to add a note for Joy-Kill Two, that her use of outnumber was incorrect. It’s actually one word, not two separate words. I feel I may be tossing a bit of gas on the embers, but I believe in this case self-righteous rudeness should be respectfully addressed. I had to chuckle when I saw it, considering JK2’s little rant.

          1. Dear Tara and Teki, or Terri 😉 I missed your malicious comments all these years. I was never a 10+ in English, as JK1&2 😀
But, I was a super 10 in other lots of things, and what I know for sure is that my type of content is not for English super-skilled speakers, like you 2. My articles are for people who want a spiritual evolution, not an English class.
PS: I was not born or raised in America, as critical readers assume. I was born in a small European country. I am not using this as an excuse to my grammar mistakes, just FYI.
            Namaste, beautiful faces :))

      2. The Splendorneko is mounting a grammatical attack on “its vs. it’s” while paragraph 3 is grammatically incorrect on her part! There’s…means There is (singular)…few Americans is plural. Should be There are…but who cares really. The above information was fantastic and I enjoyed the read.

        1. Splendorneko missed that lesson, Ally 🙂 But we are not perfect, we all do mistakes, right?
The beauty of life is to have the power to admit you made a mistake, and to correct it if you can 🙂 Or at least this is a super-value for me.
“The above information was fantastic and I enjoyed the read.” This is what I needed to hear, after a 3 years of pause from writing. Thank you for valuing what`s good in me 🙂
PS: To all my readers I apologize in advance for all the language mistakes in my future articles. Speaking baby language the last 3 years surely didn`t raise my English skills
          Namaste

  1. I am so glad I found this page/writing =) I thought it was just age catching up to me with my eyes being sensitive to light, im only 30 haha and I also thought maybe im just imagining that things smell and taste a lot stronger. turns out my meditation and spiritual work is most likely responsible =) I love all this information and I love how it was presented….

    1. Hi Ramos,
Sorry for answering after so much time. It`s been a year (or 3) full of major changes in my life, and I was forced to pause all my work for AwakenMindset.
Thank you for your appreciation. Hopefully there`s more to come this year!
      Namaste
